The Trek Stop is adjacent to Tropical Wings Nature Center, along the Western Highway in the Cayo District of Belize. Six miles west of San Ignacio, The Trek Stop is just east of San José Succotz  village, about 1/4 mile from the Xunantunich ferry and 3 miles east of the Guatemalan border.

By car, it takes about 1 ˝ hours to drive from the Belize airport to The Trek Stop.

Bus routes from Belize City, Belmopan, San Ignacio, and the Guatemalan border offer frequent service throughout the day; all busses going east and west along the Western Highway go right past our place and will stop if you let the conductor know where you want to get off. From the airport, you need to take a taxi (25$US) to the bus terminal to catch these busses. The express bus costs about $6US per person, the local about $4US per person.
